Welcome to Our Virtual Book Club
Each month we will read a book together that supports us in motherhood in some way…parenting books, biographies or just a fun fiction for a little escape.
You will receive updates via email and participate in a monthly Facebook Live to discuss the book and chat with some of the authors.
All virtual book club meetings take place live on our Facebook Page on the last Friday of the month at 6 p.m. PST.
Be sure to follow us there and subscribe to our email list.

Packed with actionable advice, Drop the Ball urges women to embrace imperfection, to expect less of themselves and more from others—only then can they focus on what they truly care about, devote the necessary energy to achieving their real goals, and create the type of rich, rewarding life we all desire. – tiffanydufu.com
Join us for our April Virtual Book Club with Melanie Dale, an author, speaker, and blogger at Unexpected.org. She is a self proclaimed weirdo that stinks at small talk but she loves to laugh and use humor as a coping strategy hence her book Women Are Scary: The Totally Awkward Adventure of Finding Mom Friends.
In this guide to “momlationships,” I use a dating analogy to take us “around the bases” to our home-run friendships, the ones that last a lifetime, not just a soccer season. This is our journey to each other, to finding our people and being other people’s people, learning how to bless each other and not destroy each other.
It’s sometimes scary. And always awkward. Let’s have some fun.
January & February
Join author, speaker and family strategistTM Charlotte Avery for the launch of our monthly Book Club with 40-Day Tone Of Voice Tone Down.
Charlotte Avery is an author, speaker, and entrepreneur who is fiercely committed to helping women go from overwhelmed to overjoyed in their roles as wives and moms. As The Family Strategist™, she draws upon her experiences as the wife of 1, mother of 7, and owner of no pets to give moms the tools they need to define for themselves what it means to have it all.
Charlotte uses the 40-Day Tone of Voice Tone Down to assist the reader in digging deep for the origin(s) of yelling and other inappropriate forms of communication that may have destroyed or may be hindering us in our relationships.
